How It Works
Submit Predictions
Community members submit predictions made by UFO/UAP commentators, including direct quotes or paraphrasing, source links (podcasts, interviews, social media posts), and specific target dates or timeframes.
Community Voting
Once a prediction's target date passes, community members can vote on the outcome: True (prediction came to pass), False (prediction did not occur), or Partial (some elements occurred). Voters can provide evidence and sources to support their vote.
Consensus Mechanism
When a prediction reaches a voting threshold (minimum number of votes with sufficient agreement), the outcome is locked in. This creates a permanent, community-verified record that reflects the collective assessment.
Track Accuracy Over Time
The platform maintains accuracy statistics for each commentator, providing a historical record of their predictions. This helps the community identify credible voices and understand patterns in the disclosure narrative.
Why "Soonerism"?
In the UFO/UAP community, "soon" has become shorthand for those who repeatedly predict imminent disclosure events—often claiming major revelations are just around the corner.
While enthusiasm is valuable, accountability is essential. Soonerism playfully acknowledges this pattern while creating a constructive tool for the community to track these predictions objectively.
Our goal isn't to mock or discourage speculation—it's to build a culture where bold claims are documented, evaluated fairly, and remembered accurately. This benefits everyone: researchers build credible reputations, the community makes more informed judgments, and the historical record becomes clearer.
The Team
Soonerism is a community-driven project. We believe in transparency, collaboration, and collective intelligence.
The platform is maintained by a dedicated team passionate about bringing rigor and accountability to UFO/UAP discourse. Our moderators are selected from the community and operate with clear guidelines and oversight.
